I deeply adore anything nostalgic- disposable cameras, record players, black and white images, and film.
Medium format film and the dreamy, romantic, ethereal images it creates have been the backbone of defining the signature MBP style. For years, I’ve developed my digital RAWS to emulate the look of medium format film, swearing one day I’d be a film shooter myself. That day is here!
2021 was the year I decided to tackle the transition to shooting hybrid. This session was shot mostly digitally, however, there are images from my first roll of film (Portra 400) scattered in.
Julia, Austin, and I spent last Sunday perusing around downtown Philadelphia and enjoying the first sunny day in a while.
I hope you enjoy these photos, too.
